Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague has hit back at rumours she may have undergone plastic surgery, as she addressed fan speculation during an Instagram Q&A session on Sunday.
The 23 year old star, who first shot to fame on the fifth series of the popular ITV2 dating show in 2019, was responding to claims she had undergone a boob job after a fan posed a question that was adamant she had undergone the procedure.
“I’m convinced you have had a subtle boob job. Please can you discuss it! X” wrote the fan.
However Molly-Mae was quick to shoot down any rumours as she categorically denied having ever gone under the knife.
“If I had a pound for every time I’ve been asked this recently, I’d be a very, very rich lady,” she began, clearly addressing the fact that several fans have shared similar speculation in recent weeks.
Although Molly-Mae did then acknowledge that yes, the size of her breasts had increased, it was definitely not down to any surgery.
She continued: “Guys, I’ve gained weight. That is why my boobs have gotten bigger to be perfectly honest with you.”
The star however didn’t stop there, as she also addressed how she was unimpressed at the idea that so many people thought she would have undergone the procedure and kept it secret.
The blonde added: “I’m also really upset that you guys think that I would try and do it sneakily and not say anything. If I had a boob job, you would definitely know about it, but no, I have not.”
During the same Q&A session, the Islander also admitted that her home WIFI was once again on the fritz, and had lead to her answering questions from the comfort of her car, rather than the home she shares with beau Tommy Fury.
Opening up about the struggle and an argument that had taken place, Molly-Mae told a fan that had asked what her favourite thing about her partner was that: “Right now? Nothing.”
Not keen to let the savage quip remain without explanation, the reality star then shed a little more light on the disagreement that had taken place earlier that morning.
“We were shouting about the WIFI this morning before I left the house. Not even joking. So Tommy, I’m going to tag you in this, and you’ll see this – when you’re ready to apologise, my WhatsApp is open, k?”
Tongue in cheek retort aside, Molly-Mae did then go on to give a more reasonable answer as she added: “But just so you guys don’t think I actually hate him – because I don’t – my favourite thing is probably his sense of humour and funniness.
“I say that all the time, but he is actually hilarious, the funniest person I know, straight up. And I’m crying with laughter every single day and it’s the best thing.
