Shaughna Phillips raises concerns with fans as she takes to her Instagram to share an update from hospital.

The former Love Island star, 28 who recently described Love Island star Adam Collard as “playing a character”described herself as “sh***ing her pants" on her Instagram story to her 1.5 million followers today.

The reality star shared a snap as she waited at the hospital for a colposcopy on Sunday morning, 24 July.

The NHS describes a colposcopy as a test to take a closer look at your cervix and it is often done if cervical screening finds changes to your cells.

Shaughna captioned the post: “Sunday fun day?”

She then wrote: “So I said I would be sharing my experience with you all, and currently I’m sh***ing my pants.”

The 28 year old went on: “Still screaming for ladies to book their smears! But also screaming internally.”

She added a note at the bottom saying: “Side note I absolutely hate hospitals with every part of me.”

The star took to Instagram again after returning home today from the appointment sharing a video as she lay on her bed looking subdued.

She captioned the post: “How did the colposcopy go?”

Shaughna wrote: “Chilling ad feeling sorry for myself for the rest of the day.

“Although I did have three nurses who were so lovely and made me feel looked after.”

She once again “screamed” for women to get their smear tests done.

She said: “Still screaming for ladies to book your smear if you’re overdue”, and she ended the post with a pink heart emoji.

Shaughna tested HPV positive following a routine three-year smear test in May leaving her "initially terrified" as she shared experience with fans.

Posting a photo of a cervical screening leaflet at the time, the reality star wrote: “A few weeks ago I told you that I was having my routine three-year smear test, and urged anyone who’s missed their appointment or thinks they’re overdue one to book.

“Yesterday I received my results and have had changes to some of the cells called “borderline changes” that require further examination. I also tested HPV positive.

“Of course, I was absolutely terrified initially and although everyone I’ve spoke to has reassured me how common this is, it is still scary.”

Human papillomavirus (HPV) is often passed on through sexual contact and has no symptoms, however some forms can lead to genital warts or cancer.
