Lydia Bright has given her fans an update on the state of her health after admitting she was “petrified” that she had caught coronavirus.
The 29 year old former The Only Way Is Essex star revealed she had spoken to her doctor after testing negative for the coronavirus last week.
Lydia, who is mum to daughter Loretta, shared an update with her 1.2million Instagram followers as she shared a photo of the sky and wrote on top of it.
She explained her decision to write her update rather than film herself speaking as she wrote: “Easier to type as really chesty this morning.

“So many of you are DMing me saying that the corona tests are not always accurate.
“I spoke with my doctor today and he really doesn’t think it is corona. However I am going to double check again at the centre today.”
As she posted another image of the sky onto her Instagram story Lydia, who recently urged her fans to be kind after receiving backlash for posting a photo of her body, wrote on top of it: “Thank you for all your messages.
“Hoping I’m back to normal v soon. So I can be the best mummy to Loretta.
“Instead of being this lethargic, coughing mess on the sofa,” followed by a laughing emoji.
Lydia’s update comes just days after she admitted she was “petrified” that she had the covid-19 after falling “horrifically ill” with a mystery bug.
Speaking in a video, which she shared on her Instagram story, Lydia, who admitted she cried the whole way to the doctors as her daughter got her third round of jabs, said: “I’ve been so ill all day, I was absolutely petrified that I had corona. But, I had the test and it's come back negative.“
She continued: “But I feel horrific, I don't know what this is. Could it be a chest infection? Could it be flu? Could it be hay fever? Oh gosh, I don't know.”

Still not feeling her best, Lydia joked that she could tell was under the weather as she wandered around her home that was full of debris and mess.
“This is when you know I'm ill,” she chuckled as she pointed out a dirty nappy on the floor and make-up products strewn all over the fluffy rug.
She then wandered into her kitchen picking up a banana skin from earlier in the morning, as well as empty cardboard boxed around the kitchen counters and continued: “Absolutely no energy.”
Instead of worrying about the mess around her home, Lydia spent time with her daughter to lift her mood, sharing a cute picture of them cuddling.
She wrote across the image: “Felt so ill all day thank god for you.”
