Its a wrap! But never for us!

Content queen North West just enlisted some all-star talent to get in on the latest TikTok trend. In a new video posted on Feb. 20, the 9-year-old was joined by her mom, Kim Kardashian, as well as pop diva Mariah Carey and Carey’s daughter, Monroe Cannon, to sing and dance along to “It’s a Wrap.” Enlisting Carey was fitting, because she’s the artist behind the now-trending 2009 track.

In the clip, Cannon, 11, and West sing along to the tune in a sparse hallway at Kardashian’s California home, before their moms pop out at the end to lip-sync the chorus: “It’s a wrap for you baby / It’s a wrap.” In the caption of her own post of the clip, Carey wrote, “It’s a wrap! But never for us! 😘 @kimandnorth @roeroediva @kimkardashian.”

The Kardashian and Carey friendship is especially notable, as the stars share the same ex: Nick Cannon. Kardashian dated him from 2006 to 2007, and Carey was married to the TV star for six years.

Carey has already participated in the “It’s a Wrap” trend, releasing a video last month that starred her and a literal wrap — a sandwich wrap. And last week, she shared another clip set to the song audio, that time with her and Nick’s son, Moroccan Cannon, also 11. Mother-daughter duo Kardashian and West, who share a joint TikTok account, also previously danced together to the audio in a Feb. 12 video.

West and Monroe Cannon’s friendship was on display in an earlier video, when they re-created Rihanna’s halftime performance, with the latter clad in all red as Rihanna and West in all white as the “Work” singer’s backup dancers. In the caption, the girls told Rihanna, “We love you.”
