Mariah Carey‘s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” has earned the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for a tenth total week.
The song earned 41.1 million streams and 33.1 million radio airplay audience impressions and sold 11,000 downloads in the United States in the December 9-15 tracking week, according to Luminate.
As a result, Carey has become the third artist and first female singer with three songs at No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart for 10 or more weeks.
“All I Want for Christmas Is You” also tops the Digital Song Sales chart for the third week.
A track from Carey’s 1994 album Merry Christmas, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” is an up-tempo love song that includes bell chimes, backing vocals and synthesizers. The song has become a Christmas standard and continues to surge in popularity each holiday season.
Brenda Lee‘s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” remains at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated December 24. It is followed by SZA‘s “Kill Bill” at No. 3.
