Meghan Markle and Prince Harry emerged back on the royal scene in London yesterday (March 5) with a joint appearance at the annual Endeavor Fund Awards, which honor injured servicemen and women who have used sports and adventure challenges to aid in their recovery. It was the couple's first official appearance together since announcing they would be stepping down as senior working members of the royal family back in January.

They looked happy and relaxed, to say the least. Over the next few days, they'll embark on their final rounds of official royal work before heading back to North America to start a new chapter of their lives. The duke and duchess each presented an award and, as one of the organization's patrons, Harry gave a short speech. But it was actually another couple who stole the spotlight—no easy task when the Sussexes are in the room.
