The final episode of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's docu-series sees the couple level a series bombshell claims against the Royals, with Meghan even appearing to accuse Prince William of being involved in the leaking of a royal aide's messages.
The messages from Jason Knauf, a former aide to both the Sussexes and Cambridges, showed that Meghan was aware the letter she wrote to her father had the potential to be leaked.
Discussing this in the Netflix doc, the Sussex's lawyer Jenny Afia references that Jason gave witness statement in court after this leak.
Jenny says: "A senior member of the Duke of Cambridge's team came forward to give this witness statement which wasn't required. And sadly there's no way he could have done that without the authority of his bosses."
The documentary then shows a clip of Meghan, Harry, and a friend discussing the leaked messages at the time this occurred.
The friend can be heard saying: "He works for his brother!" as Meghan says to Harry "it's your brother! I'm not going to say anything about your brother but it's so obvious!"
Harry then responds: "It's even more obvious that they'll try and cover it up. Again 'Jason the former aide of Meghan and Harry' as opposed to…"
Their friend interjects with: "That's what I keep saying, why are we talking about him as he former aide and not as the person who works for your brother?"
Answering this the Duke of Sussex says: "That's why I'm now living in a different country, because all the comms teams basically like try to outdo each other, but this is the, this is the contract. The symbiotic relationship between the two institutions working."
The doc also saw Harry recall how his brother "screamed and shouted" at him during a meeting about him and Meghan's future way of working.
Discussing the occasion, he says: "It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me, and my father say things that just simply weren't true, and my grandmother, you know, quietly sit there, and sort of take it all in."
The meeting on what was later dubbed "Megxit" took place at Sandringham in January 2020 and Meghan was not invited.
"It was clear they planned it so you weren't in the room," Harry tells Meghan in the series. "I was not invited to have a seat at the table," she adds.
Today’s Harry & Meghan episodes complete the Sussexes’ Netflix documentary series.
