At a fan convention in Oregon on Saturday, Michael J Fox, 61, joined his former co-stars Lea Thompson, 61, Christopher Lloyd, 84 and Tom Wilson, 63.
Lea, who starred as Lorraine Baines in the franchise, shared the heartwarming reunion with her 380,000 Instagram followers in a series of snaps and short clips.
Michael, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease at the age of 30, was seen by fans slightly staggering around the event as a result of the disease but otherwise appeared in high spirits as he joined his former castmates.
Since his diagnosis the star had devoted much of his time and assets to raising money for Parkinson’s research, collecting over $1billion for the cause through his Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
The Family Ties star took to his own Instagram during the event, sharing a sweet snap with his three co-stars on his Instagram story.

Snapping photos with her three former co-stars throughout the day, Lea shared the heartwarming moments on Instagram.

He wrote: “I love being at these FanExpo events and seeing some of my favorite people like Lea, Tom, Chris and all you #bttf heads. Heavy.”
Countless fans gathered for the rare Back to the Future reunion
While Michael, Christopher and Lea have done countless Back to the Future-themed events together but Tom, who played antagonist Biff Tannen, was a rare addition to the panel.
Lea shared some sweet videos with her former castmates
In a clip with Tom, the actor recited his notorious schtick from the film, tapping on Lea’s head and asking in an irritating nasally voice: “Hello? Anybody home?” before giving the actress a sweet smooch on the forehead.
The fan expo also held a surprise guest for the Hollywood legends
With no explanation in the caption, Lea revealed in a final pic that a white fluffy llama had been present.
Michael J Fox, Lea Thompson and Christopher Lloyd last gathered in 2016
The trio made an appearance at the Wizard World Comic Con in Chicago.
