Former Liberty X star Michelle Heaton is “self celebrating” her 44th birthday while her husband Hugh Hanley is away.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the star was the picture of fresh faced beauty as she ventured on a walk sporting an oversized Yale University sweatshirt and leggings. She kept her chocolate-coloured locks swept back off her face and completed her attire with a baseball cap.
Speaking directly to the camera, she began: “Good morning, just realised that when I posted yesterday, I’m wearing exactly the same jumper – it’s just how I roll, save on the washing.
“Anyway, it is my birthday today, happy birthday to me! I don’t mind self-celebrating that. The husband is away but he sent me some beautiful flowers, he did good.”
She then joked: “I wanna know what he’s done wrong, it’s not like him at all. Well done, Hughie.”
Continuing, she referenced her surroundings and said: “I am out for a walk, as you can see. I already hit the gym, get it over with so that I’ve got a fun filled day planned. I am off to the cinema with my mummy, we’re gonna go see Little Mermaid – yes, I know, I’ve already seen it before but I want to see it again – and she hasn’t seen it.
“And then, we’re going bowling as a family later on, and then I get my present from the kids and Hughie later.” Finishing her chat with fans, Michelle added: “Anyway, don’t have a good day, have a great day and if nobody told you that they love you, then we love you – don’t we Bella?” She then turned the camera to her dog, who was engrossed in sniffing something on their walk.
Later, the star shared a selfie with her mum from their cinema seats as they settled down to watch the live action adaptation of the 1989 Disney classic.
The singer shot to fame after being part of the pop group Liberty X in the early 2000s. Over the course of her career, she's taken part in several reality TV shows, including I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Celebrity Big Brother.
She found love with husband Hugh Hanley over a decade ago, with the pair tying the knot in 2010. The couple have two children together, Faith and Aaron. Today isn’t only her birthday, it’s also her and Hugh’s wedding anniversary.
Posting a sweet throwback photo from their wedding day, Michelle penned: “Happy 13th wedding anniversary baby @hughhanley
“Today is also my 44th birthday. Few years back there was a chance, in addiction, i wouldn’t see today. With your love & support we get to be here together. Stronger [than] ever. I am one lucky lady. I love you Xxx”.
Her post racked up thousands of likes in just a matter of hours.
