Molly-Mae Hague has divided fans' opinions after calling her newborn baby daughter Bambi, with her even turning off the comments on her latest Instagram post when she announced their name choice.
But many have defended the 23 year old new mum's decision to go with the Disney-inspired name, as many said they thought the name Bambi was "very cute" and "original".
One fan took to Twitter to write: "I hope Bambi is just a nickname and not Molly-Mae’s child’s actual name. It’s a very cute nickname but Bambi Fury is a bit of a mouthful ain’t it."
Another said: "Aww Molly-Mae’s baby is so cute and her name is Bambi."
A third added: "Been waiting for the reveal and I wasn’t expecting Molly-mae to call her baby Bambi, no hate just not sure how I feel about it."
"Molly-mae named her baby bambi… interesting," one social media user wrote, while another tweeted: "No way has Molly-Mae called her baby Bambi!"
Someone else shared: "Awww Molly-Mae & Tommy have called their little girl Bambi I love it, such a cute original name."
It comes after Molly predicted her fans would be questioning the name choice, as she previously said: "It's always been my dream little girl name and luckily when I met Tommy and I told him the name that I'd always dreamt of using, he absolutely loved it too.
"It's a really really unusual and a different name, I do not know anybody else with the name. It's not made up, it's totally not made up, I can't explain it.
"It's just not a name that's ever been used before. It's very very different and rare and you're either going to love it or hate it."
After announcing their daughter's name on Instagram, the Love Island star was forced to turn off the comments of her new post.
It seemed that many fans figured out her baby's name way before the PrettyLittleThing creative director confirmed the name on her socials.
"I know the name. Somebody I know who is close to Molly's managers family or something knows the name. It's Bambi," one fan of Molly's penned on TikTok.
Another also shared: "It's Bambi apparently."
Fans had been speculating what her and Tommy's chosen name was throughout her pregnancy, and a few options were Halo, Cloud and Nephele.
Moments after Molly and Tommy, also, 23, announced the news to the world, many rushed to comment on their posts.
Maura Higgins said: "So so so proud of you always. she is so perfect."
Molly's sister and Bambi's auntie Zoe Hague wrote: "My beautiful baby niece. I love you all, so proud."
