The nominations are for Best Picture, Adapted Screenplay by Ehren Kruger and Eric Warren Singer, Sound, Film editing, Visual effects and Original Song for the Lady Gaga tune Hold My Hand.

The 2022 summer movie grossed nearly $1.5 billion worldwide.

The Paramount Pictures film has stood out because Cruise is credited with reviving the theatrical box office business following the Covid pandemic with his role.

Cruise was not nominated for Best Actor.

But he is a producer on the hit movie alongside Jerry Bruckheimer, Christopher McQuarrie and Skydance principal David Ellison.

According to ET, Cruise is not expected to attend the Academy Awards on Sunday.

Monica is now starring in At Midnight.

She is in the dreamy setting to shooting her new superhero film Super Society 3.

And she hopes to get her own spinoff from it.

But then she finds her co-star and boyfriend Adam (Anders Holm) has been cheating in his trailer.

When at her hotel she bumps into Alejandro and they have an instant attraction.

She asks him to go dancing with him at midnight and he agrees.

They start to go on secret dates so the production crew on her shoot doesn’t notice she has found a new man.

The sparks fly and they start to fall in love.

Also starring in the movie are Casey Thomas Brown, Catherine Cohen, Fernando Carsa, Whitney Cummings, and Maya Zapata.
