Nicola Peltz has addressed her so-called feud with her mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham.
When Nicola married Brooklyn Beckham last year in a star-studded ceremony, which has since seen dramatic legal issues, rumours began to circulate about Victoria’s relationship with the newest member of her family.
The tension allegedly began over Nicola’s wedding dress, which Victoria was initially supposed to be making. Since then, speculation has snowballed to the point where David Beckham is said to have admitted that it could tarnish the family “brand.”
Now Nicola, 28, has opened up about the feud while suggesting that the stories don’t reflect the true nature of her relationship with Victoria.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK, she explained: "I’ve said this so many times: There’s no feud. I don’t know. No one ever wants to write the nice things.
"It’s really weird, actually, whether it’s my life or someone else’s life or whatever, when you know the truth and then you read something totally wrong," she added.
While Nicola had Brooklyn have denied any feud, sources close to the couple and the Beckham family have added fuel to the fire.
A source previously told MailOnline: "There is a feeling that the Peltzes rather turn their noses up at the Beckhams… the way that they do things and their celebrity profile.
"Meanwhile, the Peltz clan has really embraced Brooklyn. There is a feeling that Brooklyn is now all about the Peltz family and not the Beckhams."
After Brooklyn admitted to wanting to be a young dad, much like his own father, a source close to his fashion designing mum told OK! that the arrival of her first grandchild could come with 'difficulties'.
“Brooklyn is a real homeboy and he really wants a family, a big one, and so does Nicola. He just wants to make Nicola happy and he promised to do that when he married her,” our source explained.
“And nothing would make Victoria happier than being a grandmother, and she would love to be a hands-on granny, but it could be difficult with the tension and distance between them.”
The Beckham clan, minus Romeo, attended Paris Fashion Week last month to support Victoria while also celebrating Brooklyn’s birthday as a united family.
“Happy birthday baby I love you more than I can put into words. I love being your wife. I love living life by your side. I just love you sooo much,” Nicola wrote at the time.
