I’m A Celeb: Josie Gibson walks in on Nigel Farage showering
Former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! contestant Kadeena Cox believes that Nigel Farage may not be as authentic as he makes out on the ITV show.
On Tuesday’s episode, the former UKIP Leader told food critic and columnist Grace Dent that he hopes to reach a “new audience” whilst participating in the show.
Speaking to the 50-year-old, Nigel, 59, said: “If you do the challenges, it’s 25 percent of the airtime. I’m looking at reaching a whole new audience.”
Later on in the episode, ITV presenters Dec Donnelly and Ant McPartlin referenced the campmate’s comment and said: “Shortly we’ll be going into camp to reveal who’ll be getting 25 percent of the airtime tomorrow.”
Following Nigel admitting that he is interested in being on-screen as much as possible, Paralympian Kadeena, who took part in I’m A Celeb in 2021, has taken to social media to air her views.

Following Nigel’s confession on Tuesday evening, many other viewers have rushed to social media to give their view on his “game plan”.
One said: “’We all just agreeing to not vote Nigel after him admitting he just wants airtime.”
Another commented: “Nigel isn’t even pretending that he doesn’t have a game plan.”
“Nigel Farage revealing his game plan too early,” replied a third.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that the debut episode of the show’s 23rd season had drawn in an average of seven million viewers – with the peak being 7.8 million.
As per BBC, this means that two million fewer people tuned in to watch Marvin Humes and Sam Thompson arrive at camp when compared to the first episode of series 22, which pulled in 9.1 million on average.
According to Overnights.TV, the second episode of the reality show only brought in an average of 6.1 million viewers.
Regarding the recent ratings, an ITV spokesperson told MailOnline: “I’m A Celebrity received ITV’s highest overnight audience of the year and the biggest entertainment launch across any channel.”
