Offset Excitedly Hugs Newly-Released Brother After 15 Years in Jail

In a video he shares on Instagram Story, the one-third of Migos beams with happiness as he welcomes his brother who has served a fifteen-year sentence in prison.

AceShowbizOffset has been reunited with a loved one after more than a decade of separation. His brother has just been released from jail after a fifteen-year prison sentence and he couldn’t be happier about it.

The Migos star took to his Instagram Story to share a video that captured the beautiful moment. In the short clip, the “Ric Flair Drip” spitter excitedly greeted his brother as he jumped out of a car and gave his brother a big hug. “15 years and he back,” he captioned the video, according to Complex.

Offset later took his brother to get a new haircut. “He back baby,” he wrote in the caption. He then helped his brother get new clothes before taking him to the studio. “Getting my drip right!!!” Offset’s brother reportedly wrote along with the clip.

The 29-year-old star also posted several videos showing he and his big family celebrating his brother’s release with a feast in a restaurant. Some family members were seen excitedly taking photos with the newly-released man and later raised a glass to toast his freedom.

It’s unclear why Offset’s brother was locked up, but it’s worth nothing that the husband of Cardi B was just a teenager the last time his brother was a free man.

His brother’s release has just added a joyous moment to Offset’s already solid month. Earlier this month, his HBO fashion series “The Hype” was renewed for a second season, which is set to debut in 2022. The “Without Warning” emcee serves as a co-signer (judge) and producer on the show.

On the music side, Offset has been teasing new music on social media lately. Fans, however, should not expect another Migos album anytime soon. Quavo recently told Complex that the members plan to release a solo album each before reuniting.
