Emily Blackwell has revealed that she doesn't think meeting boyfriend Jordan Alexander was down to fate. Instead, she believes it was the work of close friend Ollie Locke.
The Made In Chelsea star has had her fair share of romantic highs and lows, including an on-screen break-up with cheating ex Harvey Armstrong. But now, she is firmly in a love bubble with boyfriend of almost one year Jordan, who she has recently moved in with.
Standing by to witness her heartbreak on the E4 show was Ollie, who took matters into his own hands and 'manifested' a perfect man for Emily, with his wishes being granted in the form of Jordan. Talking exclusively to OK! this week, the sweet couple detailed their romance as Emily shared the tale.
She admitted: “He gets on so well with everyone, especially Ollie and Gareth [Locke]. Ollie manifested Jordan for me!
"When I was going through a break-up, he sent me a voice note saying, ‘Emily, you really need a lovely, big, tall, good-looking guy from Surrey.’ How mad!”
Ollie has been part of the show's core cast since 2011, becoming increasingly closer friends with Emily since she arrived on the scene in 2016. After a rocky road himself, Ollie has since found love with husband Gareth and appears to be the agony uncle for his fellow co-stars.
Emily has known her beau Jordan for years too, with the pair both hailing from Surrey and mixing in similar circles. But it wasn't until her split from Harvey that the pair made things romantic.
In an explosive episode of MIC last year, Harvey's infidelities came to light as he broke down in tears and vowed to win Emily back after he admitted to kissing another woman at a house party.
Emily had previously confronted Harvey, calling him a "lying piece of f***ing s***'" and told him to "be a man for once".
But now, Emily holds no animosity towards Harvey and is thankful that things led her to Jordan. She told OK! in 2022: “I have no hard feelings towards Harvey at all, I wish him nothing but the absolute best because we’re all human, we all make mistakes and I definitely think I was his mistake. He regrets it now, and it will be a good learning lesson for him.
“If you look at the bigger picture, I’m so happy now and in something so much more suited to me. Thank God all that did happen… in the weirdest way.
She added: "So, I actually thank him. I’m like ‘thanks!’ because I’m so much more happier now with the right person.”
