After over three decades of marriage, it can be tough to keep the romantic spark alive, but one couple who have given their fans a masterclass in loved-up displays of affection are 22 Kids And Counting stars Sue and Noel Radford.

The couple, who boast the title of being the parents to Britain’s Biggest Family, celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary on Tuesday 26 September, and marked the occasion with a lavish dinner at Lancaster’s number one restaurant.

Opting for a fine dining experience with a unique French flair, the couple headed to Quite Simply French for a meal, with pricey main courses ranging from £21 to £42 a plate depending on which delicious option was ordered.

Serving everything from steak to lobster, the swanky eatery often proves to be a firm hit with fans, with multiple rave reviews left on the restaurant’s Trip Advisor page.

One delighted customer wrote: “Quite Simply French never fails to disappoint. I visit fairly regularly and from the moment you enter the door to the moment you leave is extraordinary."

While another said: “Delicious three-course meal with first class service.”

Although it is currently unknown which menu items tickled the couple’s fancy, we do know they enjoyed their well deserved date night, as Sue took to Instagram to share a sweet photograph of the duo enjoying a drink together while waiting for their food to arrive.

Alongside the image, Sue captioned the post: “Anniversary meal out with this one 31 years today.”

Sue and Noel are proud parents to Chris, Sophie, Chloe, Jack, Daniel, Luke, Millie, Katie, James, Ellie, Aimee, Josh, Max, Tillie, Oscar, Casper, Hallie, Phoebe, Archie, Bonnie, and Heidie.

However they tragically lost their 17th child, a son named Alfie in July 2014.

Although being parents to so many children does come with a hefty dose of responsibility, the couple have always made a conscious effort to celebrate milestone occasions such as anniversaries and birthdays together.

In the past, occasions such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day have been especially important, with Sue regularly doted on with everything from stunning bouquets of flowers through to luxury getaways and of course, mouth watering dinner dates.

This year’s anniversary dinner makes a stark change to the celebration from 2022, when all of the Radford kids banded together to whisk their parents off on a stunning vacation to the Maldives to mark 30 years of marriage.
