Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has reportedly embarked on a new side hustle that could help her rake in the cash.

Following Little Mix's decision to take a hiatus, Perrie, 29, has been busy writing and recording new music and launching her new clothing brand Disora, but that hasn't stopped her from seizing new business opportunities, with The Sun reporting that the singer has launched a property business.

Paxel Properties, which is a play on her son Axel's name, could be set to make quite a profit for the business savvy star.

A source told the publication: "Perrie is no stranger to hard graft and she loves to be busy. She is business savvy and created the property business earlier this year.

"The company allows her to flip properties and sell them for a profit, which can be a lucrative business. There is a lot of money in property and Perrie really has her head screwed on.”

Alongside her business ventures, Perrie has been in and out of the recording studio as she works on new music.

She told Official Charts: “It’s all going really well, I’m just having so much fun experimenting with different sounds. It’s just really good.

“I’m so lucky, I’m working with such amazing people. I’m really grateful. It’s just music that I love to make. I want to make music that I love.”

Earlier this year Perrie celebrated her son Axel's first birthday, delighting her 15.8 million Instagram followers with a gorgeous collection of images and clips.

She captioned the adorable scenes: "A whole year of Axel. Memories to cherish forever. I love you my absolute joy, you’ll always be my baby boy!"

With so much going on, Perrie is said to be "living her dream" after Alex finally popped the question to her on their idyllic holiday after almost six years together.

A source tells OK!: "This is what Perrie has always wanted. She has a ring on her finger from a beautiful man and they have an adorable baby together, she's living her dream."
