Junior Andre, 15, has revealed via his Instagram, that he has tested positive for the coronavirus.

“I have tested positive for COVID”, he alerted fans and followers via his Instagram story.

The son of Peter Andre and Katie Price will now have to stay home from school and self-isolate, something he had to do earlier in the year when his dad, Peter, revealed that students in his school year had tested positive.

Back in March 2020, Junior told followers he was experiencing symptoms of covid-19.

He said at the time: ”These aren't easy times as we know. I am videoing this to tell you I am showing symptoms of the coronavirus. It is not me saying I have it, I am showing symptoms."

He added: "Everyone please stay safe these aren't easy times like I said."

His dad Peter has also previously discussed his own experience with coronavirus, after both he and his wife, Emily, 31, contracted it earlier in the year. He shared the details of his uncomfortable ordeal citing that he had been confined to bed for several days.

Though the child of Peter and Katie, Junior is a star in his own right, with an Instagram following amassing over 429,000 and a Tik Tok following of over 140,000.

He keeps fans engaged with content made with his equally famous family members, including his sister Princess Andre, 13.

Junior contracting coronavirus comes after his mum Katie shared a sweet and emotional tribute to her mother Amy, who suffers from terminal idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

Amy was diagnosed in 2017, but Katie recently revealed her health has sadly deteriorated.

The condition has meant that Amy has had to shield during the pandemic, meaning she has not been able to see Junior, Princess or Harvey, Katie’s oldest son, along with Katie's youngest children Jett and Bunny.

With the ease of lockdown rules in April, the family shared a heartfelt moment via their YouTube channel, of them exchanging Christmas gifts with Amy in the garden.

Harvey was visibly upset, with Katie explaining that the pandemic and lockdown meant that they would not be able to see Amy inside her house, as her condition is respiratory lung disease and catching the virus would have proved quite severe.

However, Katie has also shared with fans via Instagram that both she and Harvey have received their first COVID-19 vaccinations.

In a picture showing her ready arm and the jab being administered, Katie said that despite being scared of needles, the entire ordeal was over quickly.
