Peter Andre has revealed that online scammers have been contacting his celebrity friends and followers on Instagram, asking people for money and personal information.
Mysterious Girl singer Peter, 49, said it was "horrible" for him to experience and is "worried" people could fall for it.
"I often turn a blind eye to things on Instagram, but when I saw my followers were messaging me saying they had been contacted by people pretending to work for me and they were asking for money and personal information, I had to say something," Peter wrote in his column.
"It's horrible that people are doing this and I wanted to highlight it as I'm worried one of my followers will fall for it and start handing over money."
Peter added that some of his celebrity pals were also approached by scammers online.
"I've even had friends in the industry message me to say they've been contacted too. It's ridiculous that people can do this, but it must also be so difficult for Instagram to police," he shared.
"I have blocked and reported the accounts and advise everyone else to do the same. If something hasn't come from my stories or my main page on Instagram, my advice is to ignore it."
Unfortunately for Peter, it isn't the first time he has asked his fans to be aware of scammers online.
The star previously warned his followers of Instagram “scammers” targeting his fans, urging people to vigilant if they receive messages from people claiming to be him.
Last year, when Peter started a family Instagram account, four fake accounts were set up with his name and the same pictures.
He said: "They started asking the followers for their bank details and saying they had won money. I want to stress that unless you see me personally following the account, it’s not real."
Peter continued: "These scammers should be ashamed of themselves and I’m really sorry if anyone has been affected."
Meanwhile, as the nation settles down for the new series of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, Peter looked back on his time in the jungle.
And as he sat down to speak about the show on This Morning, he described how he “fell in Love” on I'm A Celebrity all those years ago.
Host Dermot O'Leary asked Peter who he had bonded with during his time in camp, and the singer immediately spoke of Katie.
"Well, I fell in love," he said.
He continued to speak of this year's cast: "It’s a really good line-up. I was really impressed when they had Chris Moyles and Boy George but now obviously there’s a new addition…Things are going to be fiery.”
