It is unveiled that the royal family’s official website plans to update the siblings’ titles from Master Archie and Miss Lilibet to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet and the titles will be used in formal settings and not in everyday life.

AceShowbiz -Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s two children now have royal titles. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex referred to son Archie and daughter Lilibet as prince and princess respectively despite the couple’s exit from the British royal family.

On Wednesday, March 8, a representative for the pair announced the 21-month-old’s christening. The rep told Page Six, “I can confirm that Princess Lilibet was christened on Friday, March 3, by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, the Rev. John Taylor.”

It is unveiled that the royal family’s official website plans to update the siblings’ titles from Master Archie and Miss Lilibet to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. According to PEOPLE, the titles will be used in formal settings and not in everyday life.

Despite no longer being a part of the senior royals, Prince Harry wants his two children to have a meaningful relationship with the royal family. “I’ve said before that I’ve wanted a family, not an institution-so of course, I would love nothing more than for our children to have relationships with members of my family, and they do with some, which brings me great joy,” he told PEOPLE in January.

Meanwhile, in his memoir “Spare”, Prince Harry detailed Archie and Lilibet’s special visit with their great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II before she passed away. “I couldn’t stop picturing them with Granny. The final visit. Archie making deep, chivalrous bows, his baby sister Lilibet cuddling the monarch’s shins. Sweetest children, Granny said, sounding bemused. She’d expected them to be a bit more . . . American, I think? Meaning, in her mind, more rambunctious,” he wrote in the book.
