Prince Harry going out of his way not to be negative about Queen in memoir

After their bombshell Oprah interview, you'd be forgiven for wondering what revelations Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have left to make.

Plenty, it seems. Later this year 37 year old Harry is set to publish a tell-all memoir, and the book will be the couple's 'finale moment' according to their pal and unofficial biographer Omid Scobie.

But Omid insists that the book will not be 'warts and all'. In fact, the Finding Freedom author claims Prince Harry is going 'out of his way' to ensure nothing in the book could be damaging to his beloved Grandmother the Queen.

During an episode of the Royally Obsessed podcast, Omid said: 'I've been told by sources that Harry is going out of his way to make sure there is nothing in there that could be construed as being negative towards the Queen or her reign in any way.'

He added, 'I don't' think that 'warts and all' moment is going to happen'.

When news of the forthcoming book – which is expected to go on sale later this year – first landed, many were fearful about what it could contain. Initial speculation suggested it could lay bare the Prince's true feelings towards his step-mother Camilla with some suggesting it would 'shake the monarchy to its core'.

Harry signed a £14 million memoir deal with prize winning author J R Moehringer on what his publishers have described as 'the definitive account of the experience, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him.' It is thought Harry did not warn the royal family of his decision to write a book and that they were left 'blind sided' by the announcement.

Of course Harry and the Monarch have always shared a particularly close bond so it's likely that any revelations he does make will not include her. During he and Meghan's Oprah interview he spoke of his 'respect' for his Grandmother and said that he had spoken to her a great deal recently. Meanwhile Meghan gushed that she 'loved' being in the Monarch's company. 'The Queen has always been wonderful to me,' she added.
