Rachel Riley responds to trolls after they threaten to boycott her

And it seems the TV personality was touched by her friend’s tweet, as she revealed she was in tears reading her message.

Surrounded by emojis Rachel said: ‘Literally just burst into tears reading that. Thanks Katherine.’

She later shared a picture of herself stood next to an impressive wall of street art, followed by the caption: ‘Haters gotta hate, racists gotta raist, and I’m gonna carry on regardless.

‘To the ordinary decent people standing up for me – thank you!!! And remember to keep the dog and cat pics coming, it’s that time again!’

Rachel has revealed she’s been forced to ramp up her security after slamming Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party while speaking up for battling anti-Semitism during an impassioned speech earlier this year.

The star, who is herself Jewish, told the Times: ‘The more I speak, the more abuse I get, and the more abuse I get, the more I speak.

‘It’s got to the point where I can’t look at my Twitter feed any more … it’s just a constant stream.’

She added: ‘We are getting more security for Countdown.’

The presenter confirmed she will no longer consider voting for the Labour Party because they are ‘actively encouraging the abuse of people who are standing up to this’.

Labour leader Corbyn has repeated he denies all allegations of anti-Semitism time and time again.
