Ranvir Singh, 45, and Louis Church, 27, met back in 2020 when the Good Morning Britain presenter was competing in the 18th series of Strictly Come Dancing. As the journalist wowed on the dancefloor with her professional partner, Giovanni Pernice, behind the scenes she fell for Louis, who was working as a production secretary on the series.
Since then, the pair have made their relationship public with an appearance at Ascot and family holidays with Ranvir’s son, Tushaan, 10.
In a new interview, Ranvir opened up about her new relationship and addressed their 18-year age gap.
She said that they “don’t ever joke about the age difference”, and noted that age does not guarantee someone will be “wonderful” in a relationship.
Ranvir continued: “There are complete gits who are exactly the same age as you…You can find a 50-year-old man who will have no idea about how to be a good partner. “So, being 27 is not reflective of that.”
She also admitted that she is “learning” from her new boyfriend and commended him for being a “good human being”.
She added to Fabulous: “When I was 27, I was probably a lot more immature than Louis is.
“There are things that he is better at than I am in terms of just being a good human being. And I’m learning from him. So, to me, it’s a complete joy.”
Explaining what initially attracted her to Louis, Ranvir explained that he is a “really calm person” and they shared a “lovely energy”.
The mum-of-one even went as far as to say that she has “found a bit of magic” in the relationship and “everyone at Strictly is completely thrilled” for them both.

The trio travelled to the United States to watch Ranvir’s nephew graduate from business school.
During their time there, Ranvir gave fans a rare insight into their trip with photographs of the family deep sea fishing.
The presenter shared an action shot of her beau looking out to the water as Tushaan did the same at the other side of the boat.
The family also made their first public appearance back in July when they attended Ascot races.
Snaps of the trio showed Ranvir looking stunning in a cream midi dress while Louis and Tushaan looked smart in their suits.
Ranvir first confirmed their romance in December last year when they were spotted looking loved-up at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball.
Ranvir then gushed to the aforementioned publication: “I’m really happy.”
