Rod Stewart, 77, paid a heartfelt tribute to his sixth child, Liam Stewart, on his 28th birthday. 

Rod, who shares Liam with his ex-wife Rachel Hunter, shared a photograph of himself and Liam sat in a sunny location with the caption: “Happy birthday Lad.” (sic) 

Rod’s wife, Penny Lancaster, 51, also took to the social media platform to wish her stepson well on his special day.

The Loose Women panellist shared a snap of Liam posing with a peace sign while they travelled on a boat on holiday. 

Rod has eight children in total: Sarah, 59, Kimberly, 43, Sean, 42, Ruby, 35, Renee, 30, Liam, 28, and Alastair, 16, and Aiden, 11, who he shares with Penny.
