Rugby star Danny Cipriani has 'signed up' to take part in I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!, it has been reported.
According to MailOnline, ITV will be shelling out a six-figure sum to bag the former rugby bad boy for the long-running show that is set to air this autumn.
Sources claim that Danny – who's previously dated Kelly Brook and Katie Price – will prove to be a big hit with the show's female viewers.
One insiders said: "Danny is one of the most exciting signings for this series, he will be the hunk of the line up and already there is talk of him and shower scenes amongst staff working on the programme.
"There is also huge anticipation that he will reveal secrets from his showbiz lifestyle, he has been linked to many women over the years, and his scandals are well documented too so there will be lots for him to share.
"But he has a sense of humour too which will ensure he is both popular amongst his camp mates but also with those watching at home."
They went on to say that, despite Danny now being settled down with his wife, Victoria Rose, he is still "wild at heart".
OK! has contacted ITV and Danny's reps for comment.
Danny's name isn't the only one to be floating around for the 2023 series of I'm A Celeb, which is fronted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.
This Morning star Josie Gibson is also reported to have signed up after finding herself in a bidding war between the hit ITV show and BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.
The 38 year old mum of one is said to have been offered a 'mega' sum of money to enter the Australian jungle – which is believed to be in six figures.
A source reported to The Sun that ITV forked out a sum of money which the BBC could not match. They said: “She is seen as the perfect person for the jungle as she's already such a familiar face on ITV and will bring her fanbase with her”.
They continued and said I'm A Celeb producers weren’t going to let “her go without a fight” as they described the TV presenter as “down to earth."
The source added: “Talks between Josie's reps and bosses of the two shows had been going on for months and represented a real dilemma for the telly host.”
OK! contacted Josie's reps for comment.
Josie is one of ITV's biggest stars, after climbing the ranks on its flagship daytime TV show, This Morning.
Since the departure of previous longtime host, Phillip Schofield, his former co-host Holly Willoughby now presents it with an alternating roster of co-presenters, including Josie, Alison Hammond, Dermot O'Leary and Craig Doyle.
