An abundance of famous faces stepped out to celebrate the life of Shane Warne on Wednesday evening, to bid a final farewell to the cricket legend following his death in Thailand on March 4.

The likes of Scott Morrison, Andy Lee, Molly Meldrum and Brendan Fevola joined over 50,000 fans, ex-teammates and friends and family members to commemorate the public celebration of the spin-bowler’s life at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. 

Australian music legend Meldrum, 78, looked suave and smart for the occasion as he arrived in a suit, green tie and green rimmed hat.

Dannii Minogue, who Warney had nicknamed ‘disco’ when he was alive, looked beautiful as she arrived at the MCG on Wednesday. 

She wrapped up in a black trench coat for the occasion, and appeared heartbroken as she prepared for the star-studded ceremony. 

Dannii wore a stunning blue eyeshadow and lashings of mascara, and tied her hair in a low-down ponytail for the outing.

Warne’s close pal Brendan Fevola appeared simply heartbroken as he turned up to say goodbye to his friend.

Meanwhile, former WAG Arabella Del Busso wore a daring ensemble as she waltzed out to celebrate the life of her friend.

The glamour model donned an incredibly daring $620 Nicola Finetti cut-out dress for the occasion, which showed of her ample cleavage and never-ending legs.

She wore Versace shoes and carried a small Bulgari handbag in her left hand.

Arabella wore lashings of makeup for the occasion, including thick eyelashes and peach lip colour while wearing her hair in a gentle beach wave.

Ahead of the service, she told Daily Mail Australia: ”He was a good friend of mine, I knew him for at least six years.

‘We met through the boxing world, Jeff Fenech and those boys. He was a beautiful man.’

Warne died on March 4 at the age of 52 while on holiday with his friends in Koh Samui, Thailand. He died from ‘natural causes’, an autopsy concluded.

Four friends who were staying with Shane battled to save his life for 20 minutes after he was found unconscious in a villa in their Koh Samui resort.

Thai police said that he was staying in the villa with four friends, and when one of the group tried to wake Shane for food at around 5pm local time he was found to be unresponsive.

Shane’s manager separately confirmed his death, saying the father of three could not be revived.

He became a global star in 1993 by bowling out Mike Gatting with the so-called ‘Ball of the Century’ – his first ball in Ashes cricket.

He went on to get 708 test wickets, tormenting teams all over the world, especially Australia’s great rival England.
