Sienna Miller has opened up about her 11-year-old daughter Marlowe’s relationship with her father Tom Sturridge’s girlfriend Alexa Chung.
The actress, 41, and her actor ex-boyfriend, 38, dated between 2011 and 2015 but have remained close friends and co-parent their daughter.
As Sienna prepares to welcome a second daughter with her current boyfriend Oli Green, 27, she detailed how Marlowe gets on with her father’s model girlfriend.
Sienna admitted that Marlow thinks supermodel Alexa, 40, is ‘much more fashionable’ than her, despite both being iconic British style inspirations.
In a new interview with Vogue, Sienna was asked whether her daughter realises that between her mother and Alexa she has access to two of the greatest wardrobes.

Laughing, Sienna replied: ‘We tell her, she’s never going to give me that. I think she’s starting to cotton on and I have an aesthetic and maybe it was appreciated, but she’s still like no no.’
Tom and Alexa went public with their romance at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships in 2022, as they sat just rows away from Sienna and her new boyfriend Oli and snapped selfies together.
Talking specifically about Marlowe’s relationship with Alexa, she continued: ‘Alexa she is much more generous to because she is exquisitely dressed and not her actual mother.’
Referring to their set up the star gushed over their tight family dynamic.
She said: ‘It’s genuinely very loving and cosy and great. It’s ideal. It’s incredible. We are very lucky.’
During the interview, Sienna also detailed the difference in her mentality surrounding her birth plans between her first and second babies – as she is now 31 weeks along.
At this stage, she revealed she is ‘feeling’ pregnant in her ‘head and face’ and has noticed she is moving around with a ‘slight waddle’ – as well as needing to pee around 18 times a night.
She admitted that with Marlowe, she had her heart set on a ‘natural’ birth, with her sister Savannah, 44, (who had delivered several times at home) as her doula.

But instead, she was induced at the hospital and 27 hours of gruelling labour followed.
She added: ‘It was like a horrible trick of the universe. I was like, This can’t be what my sister felt at home in her birthing pool.’
Sienna was given an emergency C-section, which she called a destabilising experience. She said: ‘It was so essential in my mind that I got it “right.” And so emblematic of the kind of mother I would be that I didn’t.
‘But I know in retrospect that was just the demons of new motherhood. This time, she says, “I just don’t think I’ll put that pressure on myself”.’
Discussing her pregnancy this time around she said: ‘I think I’m much more conscious now than I was then.’
‘It’s been so much easier, I have sailed through this pregnancy. I felt great until about six days ago.’
She added that Marlowe is now excited to have a sister, despite initial reservations.
‘She is now excited. She’s like this was great why did we change this, we were the Gilmore Girls and what if the baby’s cuter and the normal feelings which she’s very honest about.’
