After making their red carpet debut at the ESPYs last week, Simu Liu and Jade Bender continued the fun when they attended Comic-Con in San Diego over the weekend. The actors put on a loving display at Entertainment Weekly’s party, as they shared laughs and exchanged sweet gazes on the red carpet.
Liu, 33, and Bender, 24, have kept their romance under wraps for the most part. However, it seems they’re slowly getting more comfortable being in the spotlight together. In addition to their red carpet appearances, Liu recently shared a group photo of him, Bender, and their friends on Instagram. “You know you’ve found the right friends when every single gettogether somehow becomes an impromptu basketball tournament 🏀,” he captioned it.
Both Liu and Bender have had quite the busy year so far. Bender recently starred in Netflix’s “Senior Year” comedy alongside Rebel Wilson, Justin Hartley, Sam Richardson, Chris Parnell, Avantika Vandanapu, and Zoë Chao. Meanwhile, Liu has a handful of projects lined up, including Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” movie, sci-fi thriller “Hello Stranger,” Mark Wahlberg’s adventure film “Arthur the King,” and the untitled sequel to Marvel’s “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.”
