A tribute to the late singer Sinead O’Connor has been unveiled in Bray Head in County Wicklow, Ireland.
The Nothing Compares 2 U hitmaker will be buried in her former hometown tomorrow following her death last month.
Ahead of her funeral, 30ft-tall white letters which spell out ‘ÉIRE SINÉAD’ alongide a heart, have been placed on a hillside in the Irish seaside town.
The Tenth Man’s executive creative director Richard Seabrooke, who was behind the tribute, said: “So much has been said about Sinéad since her recent passing, I’m not sure what is left to say.
“We just wanted to take the opportunity to mark the moment with a bold statement that symbolises what she meant to this little country of ours.”

Police have said Sinead’s passing is not being treated as suspicious.
Just weeks before she died, the musician gave her fans a brief tour of her new apartment.
After showing her living room and kitchen, she also revealed she had been working on new music using her Johnny Cash guitar.
Sinead was initially due to perform gigs in 2022 but cancelled them due to the death of her son Shane.
The 17-year-old was reported missing before he was found dead in January 2022.
One of the singer’s final tweets was a tribute to her late son 18 months on from the tragedy.
She told fans she had been “living like an undead night creature” since he passed and gushed over their “unconditional” love.
The teenager was her second youngest of four children.
