This South African man has had it with these MFin’ snakes in his… shirt??
This week pilot Rudolf Erasmus got the shock of a lifetime when on Monday he had to make an emergency landing. Something a pilot should always be prepared for — right? Well, what Rudolf wasn’t prepared for was the moment he found a snake crawling around in his SHIRT! Yes, slithering around on his skin! Eek!
According to a wild report on TMZ, the pilot thought a water bottle had leaked on him because he felt something cold on his skin — but when he looked down he came face-to-face with a Cape cobra, one of the deadliest species of cobra in all of Africa. Seriously, these guys have enough power in their venom to kill nine people with a single strike of their fangs. *shudder*
Rudolf did his best to remain calm. He tried to grab the snake with his bare hands to get the situation under control without panic — but ended up having to tell his four passengers what was going on when the cobra got loose and lost under his seat. Surprisingly, everyone stayed calm (it’s beyond us how they did, though)!
Once the plane landed and everyone was safe, the pilot said, he pulled back his seat and found the cobra curled up. By the time a crew member got around to the cockpit to get the snake, though, it had vanished. In the end they never found it! Hopefully it’s not still hiding somewhere on the plane! This story desperately needs a Samuel L. Jackson post-credits scene! LOLz!
