Stacey Solomon broke down into tears as her eight-year-old son Leighton read a book in her sprawling 2.5-acre garden.

The Loose Women panellist proudly filmed the moment her son recited an extract from a book ,with his little brother Rex adorably sat by his side.

Sitting under a tree and enjoying some fresh air, the boys looked thrilled as they kept occupied with the reading material.

Meanwhile, Stacey admitted in the Instagram Stories post shared on Tuesday that the moment made her "well up with tears like a weirdo".

She wrote: "I haven't seen him read something voluntary since he read the leaflet on how to set his PlayStation up.

"I feel like The Von Trap Family," she hilariously added.

The former X Factor star then started singing The Hills Are Alive from The Sound Of Music before urging Leighton to keep reading.

Stacey has been making the most of the warm Spring weather by spending a lot of time in the lush garden of her £1.2 million Essex property.

On Sunday, the TV personality was treated to a stunning garden party to celebrate her clothing launch with In The Style.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Stacey shared the stunning tepee set-up, complete with a beautiful picnic.

The star appeared to be having the perfect evening as she shared another image of her cuddling her boys while eating pizza in the tepee, captioned: "I feel so grateful right now wish you were all here with us.

"Love you thank you for even making this collection come true I can't ever thank you enough."

Speaking of In The Style clothing collection, which is now available to purchase, Stacey previously admitted that it was a "pinch me" moment.

The Tap To Tidy author wrote on Instagram: "Pinch me. I cannot believe I'm writing this…. In The Style have asked me to create my very own collection, and it's all because of you guys.

"I honestly can't even tell you how much this means to me, not just because it's such an amazing opportunity but because they've given me so much support in being able to fully make a collection from the very beginning starting from every single tiny detail for us all."
