The professionals of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing have cosied up together, posing for a sweet snap as they start rehearsals for the 2022 series of the show, which is due to start in September.
All 12 celebrities have now been announced for this year's series, and the line-up includes the likes of actor Will Mellor, former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh, Loose Women's Kaye Adams, and singer Fleur East.
The Strictly pros looked happy and relaxed as they celebrated Amy Dowden's birthday – heading to a bar next door to the Strictly studio after gruelling nine-hour rehearsal dance session – where they enjoyed plenty of cocktails and shots.
Joining Amy was Vito Coppola, Michelle Tsiakkas, Jowita Przystał, Nancy Xu and Carlos Gu.
The popular BBC series announced that preparation for the 2022 show is well and truly underway, with recording for the launch show set to take place on Wednesday 7 September.
Confirming the news, the broadcaster said: “The stunning 20th series returns, bringing glamour and show-stopping dancing back to Saturday nights on BBC One – and we’re extremely excited to be able to welcome an audience back to the studio for this year’s shows.”
Presenters Tess Daly, 53, and Claudia Winkleman, 50, will be returning to host the smash hit show and viewers will likely know the celebrity and professional dancer pairings by the weekend of Saturday 10 September.
The celebrity contestants for this year's show have slowly been revealed over the past week, with Two Pints of Lager and A Packet of Crisps star Will Mellor being the first to be announced, followed by ex-Coronation Street actress and former Hear'Say singer Kym Marsh.
BBC Radio 2 host Richie Anderson was revealed as the third contestant to be taking part in this year's Strictly, before it was announced on Loose Women that one of the show's panelists, Kaye Adams, would be joining the show this year.
Comedian Jayde Adams was revealed as the fifth celebrity to join the show, followed by Paralympian Ellie Simmonds.
Radio DJ Tyler West was announced as the seventh celebrity to be taking part in this year's Strictly series, whilst Bros singer Matt Goss was revealed as the eighth, in a big reveal on This Morning.
Actress and comedian Ellie Taylor has also joined the lineup for Strictly Come Dancing 2022, as has CBBC star Molly Rainford, before English football manager Tony Adams and former X Factor star Fleur East were announced as the final contestants.
The celebrities will have to put their best foots forward to impress the Strictly judges: Motsi Mabuse, 41, Shirley Ballas, 61, and Craig Revel Horwood, 57, as well as Anton Du Beke, 56, who will be a permanent judge this series.
