Tamera Mowry’s family has launched a desperate search for her niece Alaina Housely after the teenager was caught up in the California bar massacre .
Twelve people were murdered when a gun man burst into a student night in Thousand Oaks on Wednesday night, before he was shot and killed inside the bar.
And Sister Sister star Tamera and her husband Adam Housley have revealed that their niece hasn’t been seen since – with her Apple Watch and iPhone reportedly still showing her location as being on the dancefloor of the bar.
“My gut is saying she’s inside the bar, dead,” Adam told the Los Angeles Times. “I’m hoping I’m wrong.”
Journalist Andrea Castillon told how Adam tried to get into the Los Robles Regional Medical Center to find Alaina, but was turned away.
"A guard didn’t let him through, saying (the hospital) was on lockdown," the Los Angeles Times reporter tweeted.
"He said Alaina, a Pepperdine freshman, was at the bar with several friends. Her Apple Watch and iPhone still showed her location on the dance floor.
"Housley said two of Alaina’s suite mates jumped through a broken window to escape and are at a hospital with major glass wounds.
"As they ran away from the bar, someone screamed ‘Hey! Get the (expletive) down on the ground!’ They told Housley they believe it was the gunman."
"But they kept running toward houses near Los Robles Greens golf course, where they got help from residents."
Tamera’s twin sister Tia also issued a plea for information, tweeting, "Woke up shocked. Please pray. Please pray. I am numb."
The nightmare began when a gunman dressed in black shot the security guard at Borderline Bar & Grill at 11.20pm before throwing smoke grenades around the ‘crowded’ dance floor and opening fire.
Terrified teenagers hid under tables and dived out of windows before the killer, said to be 29-year-old former marine David Ian Long, was shot.
