Taylor Swift attends KC Chiefs vs NY Jets NFL game

Taylor Swift is no longer in New York City – and could have huge plans for Travis Kelce’s birthday weekend.

The Cruel Summer singer, 33, was spotted leaving her apartment Wednesday and having her luggage loaded into a car. That vehicle was then seen making its way to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. 

While Swift’s destination was not officially known, it’s believed she was headed to Kansas City, Missouri – where her rumored new boyfriend lives during the week. Her date of departure was also coincidentally one day before the Super Bowl champ’s 34th birthday. 

Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are set to play against the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis this weekend. With Swift now attending two Chiefs games in a row, many expect she will also be traveling to Minneapolis as well. 

Her previous attendance at the Chiefs game against the New York Jets saw her bring an entire crew of celebrity friends–including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and Sophie Turner–with her.

Should she be making an appearance at another of Kelce’s games, she could also be seen in other good company when it comes to celeb fans–though they could also give her a run for her money by rooting for the other side. 

Among the celebrities who are Vikings fans are actor/comedian Nick Swardson, actor Josh Duhamel, musician Biz Markie, WWE star Chris Jericho and actress Shanola Hampton. 

Regardless of whether she attends the game with other celebs or alone though, fans are likely going to be eagle-eyed as they try to see if they can spot Swift and Kelce together at any point. 

The pair’s romance has heated up in the last few weeks, and they’ve been spotted both at after-party celebrations and otherwise, with Kelce seen leaving her New York apartment last week at 11 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Swift’s attendance at the games has led to a massive frenzy amongst her fans, and with her likely attendance this weekend in the works, many are wondering how the state of Minnesota will prepare itself for the frenzy. 

As it turns out, the Vikings themselves have thrown down a warning to Swift that they don’t plan to take it easy on her new man during the game, with hopes of ending their three-game winning streak. 

Vikings Cornerback Byron Murphy Jr, per ESPN, warned that if she was in attendance, he and his teammates wouldn’t hesitate to heckle Kelce, and would also work to try and take him down. 

“We’re locked in, but that would be something,” he said. “I’ve been watching her since I was a kid. That would be cool, for sure.”

“Not for him,” he added. “Because we’re going to try to get our hands on him in front of her.”
