In case you’re wondering how the Gucci family feels about Lady Gaga and Adam Driver’s new movie House of Gucci, the answer is…not great! Like, pretty sure this is them right now:

Anyway, yeah, the heirs of Aldo Gucci [who is played by Al Pacino in the movie] went ahead and issued a joint statement slamming the film, which was published by Variety.
The Gucci family also doesn’t seem pleased with the portrayal of Patrizia Reggiani (who went to prison for hiring a hit man to murder her ex-husband Maurizio Gucci), saying she “is portrayed not just in the film, but also in statements from cast members, as a victim trying to survive in a male and male chauvinist corporate culture” and that “This couldn’t be further from the truth.”
Oh, and the statement also claims that “the members of the Gucci family reserve the right to take action to protect the name, image and dignity of themselves and their loved ones,” though Variety reports that “no legal action is being taken at this time.”
