Gemma Collins may be known as the Essex queen, but in a new chat with OK! , she has revealed it might be time for her to move on from her stomping ground.
Gemma, 42, recently visited South Wales for 48 hours to explore her Welsh roots as part of the TV show More Than Daffs And Taffs.
The TOWIE star said she’s never felt happier than being out in the country, as she was away from “toxic people and toxic environments”.
And after discovering her granddad used to work with the iconic Tom Jones, 82, before he found fame, Gemma said she could be tempted to relocate.
“Who knows, I might even have moved there by then," Gemma shared.
But the Diva Forever favourite went on to say she is thinking about moving to Surrey.
She said: "At the moment, though, I’ve got my eye on moving to Surrey. Sam Faiers lives there. I do feel like I’ve totally outgrown Essex.”
Sam currently lives in a house with her partner Paul Knightley and their children Paul, seven, Rosie, five, and baby Edward.
Back in October last year, Gemma was on the hunt for a second property after "outgrowing" her Essex mansion.
The star said "there are animals everywhere, there are people everywhere" in her sprawling mansion, and she will need another house soon due to "growing out" of her current home.
Gemma also told us she currently wants to "protect her energy" as much as possible and doesn't want any negativity surrounding her.
"Where I live now is very different to TOWIE," the star explained. "Now, I don’t really see many people and I’m particular about who I have around me.
"I protect my energy, honey. Humans are not always nice and there are very strange people in the world. And I don’t want to be around them and have any negativity. I have to protect myself and my body as much as I can.”
Gemma is currently engaged to her fiance Rami Hawash, after he proposed to her for the second time back in December 2021.
But the star sparked fears that she has split from her partner after posting a cryptic Valentine's Day post, telling her followers to "love yourself".
She wrote on Instagram: "THE MOST IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIP YOU WILL HAVE is with YOURSELF. LOVE YOURSELF.
"HAPPY VALENTINES and remember you must be your own greatest love of all …. To anyone feeling low today don’t worry you got this."
One fan questioned Gemma in the comments: "Have you and Rami split?"
Another asked: "Where’s Rami???"
