Yazmin Oukhellou has reportedly quit TOWIE just seven months after escaping a horror car crash which killed her ex-boyfriend Jake McLean.
The reality TV star, 28, has decided to walk away from the hit ITVBe series almost six years after she first joined the show, according to The Sun.
It has been claimed that Yazmin has decided not to appear on the next series of TOWIE because she wants to process the ‘trauma’ of what she has been through.

Yazmin was caught up in a horror crash in Turkey in July when Jake’s blue Mercedes E class saloon plunged down from a mountainous road and into a ravine in Bodrum.
An insider told the publication: ‘Yaz has decided to step away from the next series of Towie and focus on recovering from the trauma of what she has been through over the last year.
‘She needed a break after everything to process what’s happened, so she has decided to leave the show and will not be in the next series.
‘The door is always open for her to return, and Towie bosses were keen not to lose her but totally respected her wishes and want her to put herself first.’

The news of her reported departure comes just hours after MailOnline revealed that Pete Wicks is also quitting the show.
MailOnline has contacted TOWIE and Yazmin’s representatives for comment.
In July, Yazmin was a passenger in the car with Jake when he crashed the vehicle in Turkey and lost his life at the age of 33.

The on-off couple were on holiday together when Jake crashed the car off a cliff in Bodrum and died at the scene.
Yazmin told The Sun that to survive the smash she climbed down a cliff covered in blood with a broken arm and now she has permanent physical scarring.
After being told by doctors that she was lucky to walk away from the devastating accident, Yazmin confessed to experiencing sleepless nights and needing therapy because she couldn’t understand why she had been given a second chance at life.
In July last year, she said: ‘I severed an artery and a nerve, that’s why I bled so much. The doctors called me an angel, a miracle, because it’s a notorious spot and people have never survived.

‘Now I’m just wondering how the hell did my partner die while I’ve survived? It’s made me look at life totally differently.’
Yazmin was reportedly banned from attending Jake’s funeral after his family blamed her for his sad passing and said the couple had been arguing at the point of the crash.

Pete joined TOWIE in 2015 introduced as James Lock’s best pal and immediately set eyes on Jess Wright.
He soon became a main character on the series, romancing the likes of The X Factor: Celebrity winner Megan, who he had a tempestuous relationship with.
Their romance came to an explosive end when Megan discovered Pete had been sending explicit text messages to his ex-girlfriend Jacqui Ryland.
He dated Miss Great Britain and co-star Shelby Tribble, who’s since had a baby with former TOWIE cast member Sam Mucklow.
He later had a rocky relationship with Chloe, who was left brokenhearted when Pete wasn’t prepared to commit and it dramatically impacted their friendship.

Pete became known for his womanising ways, which in recent years has been captured on E4 series Celebs Go Dating.
He most recently shared a ‘flirty friendship’ with co-star Ella, who’s 12 years his junior.
The TV star is the latest in a long line of veterans that have left the show in recent years including Gemma Collins, Bobby Norris, James Argent, and Liam Gatsby.
After meeting on Celebs Go Dating in 2018, Pete and Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson became close friends and have collaborated on many social media videos, as well as presenting Pete & Sam’s Reality News together on E4.
The duo are also starting to record the second series of their podcast Staying Relevant this week.
Last year, Pete was forced to quit Channel 4 show SAS: Who Dares Wins after he was challenged to jump out a helicopter into a lake but managed to knocked himself unconscious with his huge backpack.
He suffered from broken ribs and admitted the experience would ‘f***ing haunt him’ because he doesn’t usually ‘fail things.’
