Alan Sugar’s, 74, feud with Piers Morgan, 56, began in 2020 when Piers fiercely held government ministers to account on Good Morning Britain. The feud has continued since, with Alan continuing to ignite the fire on Twitter today.

You are mellowing, are you well?

Arsenal failed to impress during their match today against Burnley, with Piers taking his frustration to Twitter.

In view of his 7.9 million followers, he penned: “This is dire. #Arsenal.”

Alan hastily replied to Piers’ tweet, digging at the former Good Morning Britain presenter.

In view of his 5.2 million followers, he said: “You are mellowing, are you well?

“You wanted Wenger out. Since you have no TV shows at the moment why don’t you offer your expertise to Arsenal.

“I am sure they will welcome you with open arms @piersmorgan.”

Many took to the comment section to express their view on today’s match.

Rawshrimps said: “Do you two ever agree?”

Shoequeen1971 added: “Lovely to see this – good old banter between friends.”

Frank_147501 jokes: “Wait until after the Spurs result today before deciding whether to have a dig at your old mate.”

Alan replied: “I am realistic. I think it’s going to be tough against Chelsea.”

The feud began between the pair in 2020 when Piers made sure to hold government ministers to account when they came on Good Morning Britain.

At the time, Alan tweeted: “What minister in their right mind would want to go on @gmb to be abused and bullied by @piersmorgan.”

He also told The Sun at the time: “It’s terrible reporting, I’m sick and tired of him, he’s doing it for his own profile.”

Piers then labelled his former friend a “disgrace” while Alan called him an “obnoxious t***er”.

When Piers criticised people for sunbathing in the first lockdown, Alan tweeted: “I can’t for the life of me understand what @piersmorgan is on about in respect to sunbathing.”

To this, Piers replied branding him “reckless and stupid”.

The feud continued, with Piers eventually blocking Alan from appearing on Good Morning Britain.

It was revealed in November the pair had ended their feud, when Piers wrote in his Daily Mail column he’d “begun to miss the old goat”.

However, Alan’s latest tweet suggests the pair still like to push each other’s buttons.
