Chicken lovers can order secret items from the menu and even make a very cheeky avocado breakfast thanks to these tips…
1) Make your own Perinaise
Want the benefits of Perinaise but don’t want to fork out for it?
Simply pick up your favourite Nando’s spices and sauce and ask for some free mayonnaise.
Then mix the two together to use with your burger or chips.
2) Order cheesy mash
There are few things that can't be improved with cheese — and that includes some of Nando's grub.
Its mashed potato is one of their top-selling side dishes, but what if you want to make it extra decadent?
Simple. Just order it with your meal but ask for some cheese slices that are normally reserved for the sunset burger.
Most restaurants will be happy to melt the cheese for you, but if they don't you can just do it yourself at the table.
This can also be applied to garlic bread if you want to make that cheesy too.
3) Use Nando's houmous dip at home
Did you know that Nando’s sells this in Tesco now?
You can get a 170g pot with Peri Drizzle for just £1.50 – what a steal.
They also sell lemon and herb rub for chicken for 95p, the Peri Peri salt for £1.90 and a 500g hot sauce bottle for £3.90, so you can recreate your favourite dishes at home.
4) Make your own avocado breakfast
Did you know you can make an avocado and garlic bread dish for just £3.05? Sounds incredible!
Simply order a side of garlic bread for £2.45 and then two sides of avocado (60p each).
To make it more guac-like, add PERi-salt and PERinaise. To take the brunch offering to the next level, add the new halloumi fries to the mix.
5) Make a garlic bread burger bun
Want to give your burger a zingy hit of garlic? Then this is the food hack for you.
Order your burger with a side of garlic bread and swap the slices for the normal burger bun.
Some serious flavour-fans even slather on perinaise sauce on to the garlic bread before sandwiching their burger filling.
6) Order a Peri-flamer
Fancy a break from the normal selection of marinades?
The Peri-flamer is available for diners who want the smokey taste of barbecue while keeping the kick of Peri spice.
Or are the spice levels a bit too much for your palate?
Feel free to ask for the Peri-tamer flavour off the kids menu for your meal.
The mellow barbecue taste is still delicious but it's low calorie and doesn't pack a punch.
7 ) Nando's Burrito
It's simple, but effective.
All you need to do is order a wrap off the menu — preferably a beef one like the Prego Steak with Chilli Jam so that it's close to a real burrito.
But make sure you order the spicy rice on the side.
Then when your food comes, get creative by opening up your wrap, tipping in the rice and bundling it up again.
8) Nando's for breakfast or brunch
Yes, it's true. You can get your hit of Peri-infused chicken goodness first thing in the morning.
The breakfast menu includes the Nando's Benedict — chicken with two poached eggs and wilted spinach topped with Peri-hollandaise).
And there's the Nando's beans & eggs on toast and "corny browns".
But don't get too excited.
These early-bird dishes are only available at Gatwick Airport.
But it is definitely worth booking a morning flight to have an excuse to tuck into a Nando's brekkie.
9) The Fantoke
Make sure you use the self-serve fizzy drinks machine to its full potential with this hybrid bevvy.
Although it sounds weird, mixing Fanta and Coke half-and-half creates a tasty alternative.
It was invented by Spurs star Dele Ali — whose legions of fans have been copying him and spreading word of his Fantoke creation.
Want to cut the calories? Diet Coke mixed with Fanta is the way to go.
10) Rice And Peas
It's a Caribbean classic pairing with a Portuguese twist.
Get your spicy rice and macho peas as the side orders with your dinner.
Tip the bowls onto the plate and mix thoroughly — and hey presto, it's a perfect combo.
