Bikini designer reveals exactly how bloggers edit their pics to get that Instagram booty after being ‘fat-shamed’ by trolls

Karina Irby, 28, from Australia shared a clip of a “classic Instagram girl edit” and gives an insight into what really goes on behind the scenes.

In the unedited beach photograph, Karina showed her fans how her image could be tweaked to look Instagram “perfect”.

Highlighting the comparisons back-to-back, the clip shows how she edits her body by smoothing out her skin, enhancing her bum and boobs and whittling down her waist.

She also smooths out her facial features and tweaks her head shape.

Karina captioned the snap: “Secrets out… Introducing to you the classic "’Insta Girl Edit’, where the skin gets smoother, the a** gets better, the boobs get bigger, the waist gets smaller and online confidence goes through the roof.

“But what happens offline? When did we lose our little girl confidence?

“When we were young we didn't care how we look, and we surely didn't compare ourselves to the girl next to us.

“Whether it be social media, magazines, movies or Hollywood… something changes and we start endlessly comparing ourselves to others and strive to potentially be something we aren't.

“I've been there. And I'm confident a lot of us reading this have, or are still painting a different picture of themselves.”

Karina also encouraged 840,000 of her followers to overcome their insecurities by learning to love themselves.

She added: “The sooner we decide to accept ourselves for who we are and care less about other people's criticism, the happier we are going to be.

“I know from first hand experience I am.”

Her post comes just days after she hit back at trolls who called her "fat".

Writing on her Instagram account @karinairby, where she has 838,000 followers, she revealed that she is “happy and healthy”.

She said: “Anyone who thinks girls run out and get overnight surgeries or photo editors think again.

"Humans bodies do naturally change! I know mine has over the years and looking back on old photos blows my mind.”

The two photos, taken four years apart, show the bikini designer wearing swimwear from her own collection, Moana Bikini.

She continued: “Trolls will comment that I'm now "fat" BUT in reality I'm a happy, healthy lady. I was pretty unhealthy in my first photo. Not eating right and not taking care of my body.

“Yes I've gained weight, both fat and muscle but I'm now training four times a week and eating for my body. It’s crazy what eating and weights can do.”

Previously she shared a before and after beach photo and asked followers to spot eight edits she made to her body.

The CEO previously made a staggering ten changes to a different snap, which saw her posing on the beach in a polka dot bikini top and thong turquoise bottoms.
