WITH hairdressers looking like they'll be closed for a little while yet, many of us may be turning to the box hair dye in lockdown.
That includes Eva Longoria who has revealed exactly how she's successfully covered up her grey roots at home – using a £7 product.
In a video shared on Instagram, the actress, 45, gave her 7.8m followers a step-by-step tutorial demonstrating how she used L'Oréal Paris Excellence Creme in shade 'Dark Brown'.
At the beginning of the clip, the Hollywood star showed off inch-long grey hairs along her parting.
The mum-of-one told the camera: "Look at these greys! So many greys.
"Okay, I'll be honest. For a second I thought, okay greys, I'm ready to see you. I can handle this. But I'm not. I'm not ready for this much grey.'

Eva then brandished the packet of at-home hair dye, and explained: "This is happening today.'
She put a towel around her shoulders to protect her clothes and got ready to apply the permanent product.
The star recommended applying it back to front at the roots, and massaging it in where necessary.
She allowed the dye to sit on her locks for 30 minutes before washing it out in the shower.
Finally, Eva rubbed conditioner into her wet hair – a stage of the process she loves because of "the smell".
After blow-drying her hair, she revealed completely brunette locks.
The star added: "I think I did a pretty good job."
Her fans were amazed by the transformation shown in the video, which has been viewed more than 4,000 times.
One person wrote: "OMG this is the best @lorealparis commercial BY FAR!!!!!!! Amazing babe!!!"
Another commented: "Omg this was amazing!!"
A third shared: "Best ever!!!! Sold."
And a fourth added: "Nailed this."
