AT Fabulous, we’ve been working hard to help young families living in financial hardship amid the cost-of-living crisis – and have so far raised more than £70k for those in desperate need.
Now, our incredible achievements following the success of our Baby, Bank On Us campaign have been recognised and we've been nominated for the 2023 Making a Difference Award….but we need YOUR vote.
Launched in partnership with Save The Children, Little Village and baby banks from across the UK, the Baby, Bank On Us campaign aimed to provide help for the country’s 200 baby banks, which are community centres providing essentials for babies and children up to around five.
Baby banks are not financed by the Government, but are funded by donations and run by committed volunteers – and they're in urgent need of both.
After learning that demands for their services doubled since the start of the pandemic, we knew we needed to take action.
As part of our appeal, we commissioned an exclusive poll and found that 43 per cent of mums had missed meals so their kids could eat more over the summer, meaning 2,000 British mothers were resorting to desperate measures just to make ends meet.

The campaign, which has been backed by HRH the Princess of Wales, Leona Lewis and Dame Arlene Phillips, called on readers to volunteer at baby banks, and encouraged them to donate any clothes or funds to help support these young families.

We spoke to those who could reveal first-hand just how much our campaign means to them – including a 26-year-old mum who was saved by her local baby bank when she hit rock bottom after the death of her four-week-old son.
We heard the heartbreaking reality for a baby bank in Bridgend, Wales, which only had enough funding to run until Christmas – and 600 families relying on their help.
Meanwhile, Dame Rachel de Souza, the Children’s Commissioner for England, also got on board and urged “the whole nation” to support Fabulous’ appeal.
