PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle left fans baffled after appearing to change their proposal story with the release of a new picture.

The couple's docuseries, titled Harry and Meghan, dives into the pair's "love story" as well as their feud with the Royal Family.

In the docuseries Harry claimed that he proposed to Meghan outside in a romantic candle-lit garden.

The couple shared a snap showing Harry down on one knee during the evening picnic before he popped the question.

And they were seen posing with Meghan's dog just moments after the Duchess said yes to her now-husband.

Harry added that he "gave the game away" by popping a bottle of champagne as she was "greasing a chicken" before they headed outside.

But in a previous interview about their engagement in 2017, Harry claimed that he proposed to the Duchess in the kitchen.

His Royal Highness told BBC One at the time that he popped the question on a “standard, typical night” in their cottage, while the two attempted to cook dinner.

Meghan previously said that Harry "got down on one knee" but made no mention of the candle-lit picnic outside.

It comes as Harry and Meg revealed how they met with fans spotting that they changed their story.

In the bombshell Netflix show, the Duke of Sussex said he met the Duchess on Instagram, despite previously claiming that they met on a blind date.

And the Prince revealed the first time he saw a picture of Meghan was a snap of her with a dog filter on. 

The couple went back on their previous claims after saying that they got each others numbers before heading out for drinks in London.

According to Meghan, Harry was actually late to their first meeting which lasted "about an hour".

She says: "He kept texting 'I'm in traffic, I'm so sorry'."

Harry jumps in: "I was panicking, I was freaking out. I was sweating."

But when he did eventually arrive, the Duchess said that Harry was "refreshingly fun" while the Prince said they had a "great chat".

Harry and Meghan released their £88million three-part docuseries today.

The couple had vowed the series would hold "unprecedented" truths in it's six episodes – with the final three released on December 15.

This morning's episodes saw Harry reveal he "sacrificed everything he had" for Meghan after the couple left Royal life behind.

Harry says: "She sacrificed everything that she knew and the freedom that she had to join me in my world.

"And then pretty soon after that, I ended up sacrificing everything I know to join her in her world."

A second bombshell claim sees Harry say Meghan "doesn't have a father" as they dove into the lead up to their royal wedding.

Thirdly, the couple have revealed never-before-seen clips of Archie riding his bike while his dad pushes baby Lilibet in a pushchair.

Meghan has also unveiled details of her "surprising" first meeting with Kate in the documentary.
