AN increasing number of women are opting for BBL surgery in a bid to get their dream bum.

But while many are quick to rush online to show off their enhanced and perky booties, few actually reveal the harsh reality of having such a major operation.

Well, one woman, known only as @essexdollhouse online, has decided to do just that.

In several candid clips shared to TikTok, she can be seen documenting the gruelling process and begins by saying: "Preparing for surgery."

Sharing a snap of herself lying face down on her recovery bed, she then updates her social media followers, adding: "Just came out – the pain 9/10. Unbearable.

However, after taking some pain-relief medication, she notes that the pain has reduced to a 4/10.

"So much better – the worst part was the feeling faint and weak," she admits.

In a second video, the Essex-based woman shares a very honest account of some of the after effects that she claims she wasn't told by doctors – including how you have to stand to wee and that you can't bend down following the painful procedure.

Sharing a more unique side effect that took many social media users by surprise, she adds: "Your vagina will swell and bruise big time.

"You will smell weird for a while.

It wasn't long before the post went viral, racking up over 113k views and several comments from others, with many eager to share the effects they personally experienced.

"It’s the aggressive shivering when you wake up for me. The itching, the random sharp shooting pains in your body, the skin shedding etc," wrote one.

A second penned: "The back pain from sleeping on your stomach for weeks."

A third commented: "Chapped elbows, numbing tingling feeling in arms and the back pain."

Meanwhile, a fourth added: "Smell weird…you see that’s where I draw the line."

And a further chimed in: "In one week 4 post op and my vagina didn't swell but my face was so swollen for weeks!"
