I got pregnant at 17 – people told me my life was 'ruined' but I couldn't be prouder of my daughter | The Sun

ONE mom is proud of her decision to have a baby as a teenager.

Despite criticism and threats that her life would be "ruined," she couldn't be happier to have her daughter.

Jess (@JesssFam) posted a YouTube video to share her story.

The young mom reenacted herself as a pregnant 17-year-old.

She stuffed her yellow tank top with a pillow, looked down at her round stomach, and held the big belly.

"Me pregnant at 17," her caption read.

Hateful comments popped up around her, restating the ones she received at that time.

"Slut," one said, while another stated: "She will drop out of school."

The comment, "your life is ruined," appeared next.

"Poor baby," one read. The last comment said: "She will be a terrible mom."
