I got pregnant six weeks after giving birth – people call it a true horror story | The Sun

HAVING a baby is one of the most exciting times in a parent's life, but the thought of getting pregnant again can be the stuff of nightmares.

That’s just what happened to new mum Chloe Wren, who had just six weeks of respite before falling pregnant with her second child – and people are calling her situation a horror story.

The teen mum gave birth to baby girl Everleigh in June, and was so relieved to give her body a break. But rest and relaxation was not meant to be.

In a new TikTok video, Chloe shared her big surprise with the world alongside the caption: “POV-you forgot what contraception means.”

The cute clip begins with newborn baby Everleigh in her hospital cot, before she’s carried outside by her dad.

The text reads: “Leaving the hospital with our newborn, excited NOT to be pregnant.”

Footage then cuts to a shot of two pregnancy tests – one displaying the word ‘pregnant’ and another showing the tell-tale blue cross.

Chloe is now a proud mum to five-month-old Everleigh, and four-months pregnant with her second child which she claims is another girl.

An impressive 18.7million people have watched Chloe’s surprise announcement, and some mums can’t imagine a worse situation.

One shocked user commented: “a true horror story.”

Another agreed: “6 weeks???? I didn't want him to even look at me for 6 months!”

Other women were more concerned about Chloe’s physical welfare, with one stating: “Can’t imagine the internal damage. I would be terrified.”

But it’s not all bad news. While many were horrified at the idea of having two kids under a year old, others encouraged Chloe to look on the bright side.

“They're gonna be driving at the same time, graduating at the same time,” one said with optimism.

It’s not the first time Chloe’s story has gone viral on TikTok. Throughout her pregnancy with Everleigh, the young mum shared awful comments from strangers who thought they knew better.

One asked: “Why would you have a baby so young? You’ve ruined your teenage years.”
