A WOMAN has shared a shocking warning to others considering getting "Turkey teeth", by explaining how hers were a total and utter disaster.
Joanne already had composite bonding on her "perfectly healthy" teeth, but decided to go up to the next level when they started to get stained.
So she started looking into a type of veneers that work with more of the natural tooth, so that the original isn't shaved all the way down.
She messaged a company in Turkey, who said they'd be able to do the Emax veneers for her, no problem at all.
Joanne then agreed to fly out to get her teeth done, after asking the company: "You're not gonna shave my teeth down, are you?
"Cause I have perfectly healthy teeth".

"And they was like, No, no, no, we won't be doing anything like that'."
At that point Joanne booked to fly out to Turkey, but she soon realised she may have made a mistake.
"The company from start to finish are absolute shambles," she said in a video on her TikTok page.
"They asked me to bring of alcohol for them, which I should have known was a red flag.

"I just… I don't even know what was going through my head at this point."
They also asked her for the cash upfront, which she gave them, and the next day she went to get her teeth done.
"So I sat in the chair, and I was laying there, and they were drilling my teeth, and I was in there for three hours," Joanne continued.
"I thought, three hours? Surely not. What they doing to my teeth that takes three hours? Like, I don't understand it.
"I know preparation is key and they've got to get it spot on. "So I was just kind of being a bit naive and just letting them do the thing.
"Anyway, three hours passes by. I sit up and there's a big mirror at the side of me and I look in the mirror.
"My teeth are like shark teeth.
"They were literally like shark teeth."
Joanne immediately burst into tears, and asked the dental team "what the hell" they were doing, as they'd said they'd only have to shave her teeth a minimal amount of the type of veneers she was getting.
Admitting she was "absolutely distraught", Joanne said she asked for a refund, but the company – who she has yet to name – refused.
They were even "laughing amongst themselves", she alleged, calling it "absolutely horrific".
She then ended up going around the corner to a company called Seville.
"I was absolutely distraught, in tears," she recalled.
"I was like, 'My teeth are awful. They said they weren't gonna shave them down, but they have done.
"'Please can you help me?'"
"And they were absolutely incredible," she praised.
"Like they couldn't have done enough for me."
They sorted out the top teeth for Joanne, but overall she ended up paying £5,000 for just the top set of veneers.
She also had no choice but to stay in Turkey for another week while the other clinic's work was fixed.
Concluding her post, Joanne said: "Obviously I'm over the moon with my teeth now.
"But the point of the video is just like, do your research, look at where you're going.
"It's imperative you do so because like I said, there's that many clinics that are just popping up doing it now.
"It is horrific. Like, it's just horrific.
