HAVE you ever wondered why things are designed a certain way?
Well, one woman has always been curious to figure out why tape dispensers have a hole in the middle of them – and has finally discovered the reason.
She took to TikTok to share a video explaining just what she'd found out, beginning her clip: "I was today years old when I found out what the hole in the tape dispenser is really for.
"How many times have I been using tape, hanging something up, decorating maybe, and usually you have someone else with you and you say, ‘Pass me the tape’.
"Or if you’re by yourself you have to get down off of the stool or chair and go and physically pick up the tape.
"I just found out there’s a way to avoid doing that."
