AFTER seeing the hype around heatless curls, one woman decided to test them out for herself.
But after sleeping with her tresses rolled up into two socks, she was left disappointed and confused by the results.
Clearly having seen a few videos across social media channels such as TikTok, Niamh Doherty, 20, followed the steps and woke up in the morning ready for her transformed mane.
Sitting in front of her wardrobe, she posed with her brunette locks up in the contraption, which included a bendable rod and a sock – ready to be amazed.
From the get-go, however, she was left unimpressed with it all as she wailed in agony while taking the first bit off.
“Ouch!” she yelled while releasing the first section, which had a few indentations in it, but no curls.

Parting her hair from the middle, she looked at the camera with an unamused face expression.
Holding on to some hope, she then decided to tackle the back section of her hair as she removed the second contraption.
When she moved this section of her hair to the front though, she was left disappointed once more as there were no curls in sight.
Attempting to style her hair by combing her fingers through it, she then turned to the camera to show off the results.
