A BRIDE was horrified to discover her custom-made wedding dress was set to cause the ultimate fashion faux pas just three weeks before she was set to walk down the aisle.
Joanna Olandt had worked with designers to create her dream gown, complete with a corset, floral applique and long train.
It had been stitched to her personal measurements but wasn’t ready until just three weeks before her wedding day.
Joanna travelled two hours on the motorway during rush hour to pick the special frock up.
And while she “just figured it would fit perfectly”, she never could have imagined the issue her final fitting would throw up.
When she first slipped into it, Joanna was overjoyed with the custom frock and felt like it did fit “perfectly”.

Things went south when she started to move around the wedding dress shop.
“I started to feel a little breeze,” Joanna, from California, US said. “A little bit of a breeze around the nipples.
“And I looked down and was like… ‘oh, they’re fully exposed’.
“Tits were out and I started kind of freaking out.”

Joanna instantly worried about the costs to fix the wardrobe malfunction just weeks before her nuptials.
The wedding dress designers tried to blame her for choosing a small cup size, but the bride was convinced she wouldn’t have agreed to having virtually zero chest covering.
Refusing to back down, Joanna tried on the floor model dress she had initially based her measurements off.
The store frock had B cup breasts which she said were “double the amount of fabric” to her dress.
“They actually ended up agreeing with me,” Joanna said. “They were helpful with fixing it but they had to fully reconstruct the entire top part of the corset.”
The fix included re-boning the corset and redoing the floral applique and lace detailing on the breast cups.
Joanna shared the story in a TikTok video and it seems she’s not the only bride who has suffered this faux pas.
“I paid soooo much money for my dress and it was completely the wrong size and didn’t fit me on my wedding day,” one woman empathised in the comments.
“The exact same thing happened to me,” another penned. “Weeks before my destination wedding and the entire back of the dress had to be rebuilt.”
